"Exchanges are the land of beer!" - you have probably heard this statement many times. And this is the truest truth, because beer is a complete pride of culinary heritage for the inhabitants of Biržai region. Here, since ancient times, the traditions of brewing beer have been passed down from generation to generation, so the Sodeliškės manor homestead is no exception, according to a unique technology homemade "Kalvio" beer is produced, the brewing traditions of which are taken over from the 100-year history of the family, therefore it has been awarded a National Heritage Certificate. Having preserved the traditions of brewing beer, we are happy and proud to invite you to a tasting of this wonderful drink! The barley "Kalvio" beer we produce is unfiltered, unpasteurized and uncarbonated. This is a live and healthy product!
Tasting of homemade "Kalvio" beer takes place in a cozy farmhouse and is inseparable from the bread baking educational program. During the tasting, you can not only taste beer, but also bake a loaf of homemade bread with your own hands. The owners of the homestead will also serve you locally prepared venison snacks, cheeses and hot dishes.
During the beer tasting, you will also learn more about the traditions of brewing this drink and interesting facts about the history of Biržai region beer.
